Rock Wall

The Fort Lupton Recreation Center’s climbing Rock Wall offers a variety of climbing opportunities for all levels of experience. Patrons can climb to the top of our 27-foot wall with four different routes - each offering a different level of difficulty - you are sure to enjoy the climb. Our staff are equipped to instruct patrons how to belay during staffed hours, as well. The climbing wall is the perfect space within the Recreation Center to meet new people, learn more about indoor rock climbing, and be active.

Climbers must be able to fit properly in the harness and wear sneakers. Children under 18 years old must have a signed liability waiver from their parents.

Rock Wall hours  (climb with an attendant)

Mondays (6:30pm - 8:30pm)
Thursday (6:30pm - 8:30pm)

Rock Wall hours  (if Belay Certified with Fort Lupton Rec Center)

Climbing equipment is available for check-out at the front desk, including harnesses, belay devices, and carabiner.
Monday - Thursday (5:00am - 9:00pm)
Friday (5:00am - 8:00pm)
Saturday (8:00am - 5:00pm)
Sunday (12:00pm - 5:00pm)

Belay Certification

Our qualified staff are available to give you the training you need to climb independently at the Fort Lupton Recreation Center. You must register with a partner and all participants must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years old.

Rock Wall Parties

Have your next party or special occasion at the Fort Lupton Recreation Center Rock Wall. We will do everything we can to make your time enjoyable and fun for everyone. The pool party room will be set up when you arrive. The Rock Wall Staff will review all rules before your group begins climbing. 

Package 1: $125 + $100 refundable deposit
Includes - A 1/2 sheet Birthday Cake chosen from the following themes: (Sports, Princess, Spiderman), Napkins, Plates, Cups, Forks, Matching Balloons, Punch (2 gallons), - Additional beverages may be purchased through the Community Center, Rock Wall usage for a maximum of 25 people (2 hours), and Party Room for maximum of 25 people.

 Package 2: $100 + $100 refundable deposit
Includes - Rock Wall usage for a maximum of 25 people (2 hours), and Party Room.
