Tomato Festival & Market at Trapper Days!- September 9, 2023

Dating back over 100 years, Trapper Days is one of the oldest celebrations of Colorado heritage and our largest festival celebrating our pioneers, past, present and future! Attendees got to enjoy a full day of fun starting with a parade down our main street, just as it was done 100 years ago! Followed by top-notch food trucks, designer gelato pops, live music, entertainment, beer garden, and vendors!

History of Tomato Festival at Trapper Days:

Recap of Tomato Festival at Trapper Days:

City Tour

The City Tour was an opportunity to discover many 'hidden gems' Fort Lupton has to offer! Among these gems are: Fort Lancaster, 2001 Historic Parkway; New Public & School Library,  370 S. Rollie Ave.; Museum, 453 Highway 52.

Pancake Breakfast

Visitors and residents of Fort Lupton were able to enjoy the traditional pancake breakfast during Tomato Festival at Trapper Days. This event was hosted by the South Platte Valley Historic Park at Fort Lupton Fire Protection District's Fire Station #1.

Trapper Days Golf Tournament:

Tomato Festival at Trapper Days kicked off on Friday, September 8th with the annual golf tournament at Coyote Creek Golf Course. Part of the proceeds went to the Fort Lupton Food & Clothing Bank and the Fort Lupton Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber of Commerce has been promoting businesses and building strong local business
connections since 1938. For 28 years the Chamber has been hosting this event. Proceeds from the 2023 tournament will help to continue that Chamber work. In addition, $5,000 were raised to support the Fort Lupton Food and Clothing Bank! Thank you to all the sponsors and players who participated! Click here to see the sponsors that made it happen.

The parade is one of the trademarks of our City! The community showed up on Saturday, September 9th, for one of Colorado's longest running community celebrations, Tomato Festival at Trapper Days.
