Apply for Federal & State grants to do a feasibility study for methane gas capture at the City of Fort Lupton's WWTP (Waste Water Treatment Plant). The City's current Solid Waste digester vents its waste gases into the atmosphere. The purpose of the study would explore the economic feasibility of retrofitting the existing digester to capture the waste gases to generate electricity and/or open flame lamp lighting at nearby Pearson Park ( Base Ball fields). Regardless of the study's outcome, it would show that the City of Fort Lupton is committed to using it's citizen's tax dollars prudently to explore all possible revenues to reduce operating expenses while concurrently producing the image of a "green-city". Which is crucial to attracting new residents and economic development for the city's future.

This is first time I have been/lived in a town or city that does not have adequate sidewalks in front of Public library.
I watch students, mom's with babies in strollers using the difficult, natural terrain that should be more accessible. Plus the danger of being so close to traffic. Yes, it is 20 mph during school hours, I feel that isn't enough.
Your library and mine hold so many community events and being attached to the school, gets much use.
I love this library.
I too believe sidewalks leading toward library should be widen and modernize plus could add sculptures, natural flower beds, overall upgrade an pleasing to sight. Unsure if Fort Lupton has a community theme? Even small towns can incorporate beauty, nature and ease of access to a public place.
Thank you for reading my idea.

Schools that have dances or gatherings that people like to dress formally, it would be wonderful if we could have a library of dresses available by request in all types of sizes. Dresses could be donated by people that want to donate their dresses and are managed by appointment and cleaning could be donated by a local dry cleaner or must be done by the recipient before returning this. Deposits can be placed to ensure that the cleaning and return of the dress are done. If dry cleaning is verified (with receipt) then the cleaning deposit can be returned. If no receipt is given then part of the deposit will be used for getting the dress professionally dry cleaned. Return in reusable condition deposit can also be a part of this so even if the dress is returned but is not reusable or uncleanable, the full or part of the deposit can not be returned. All of this can be adjusted and details would be for what the community needs. But all in all a library of dresses would be great!

I would love to see steady traffic of people and a variety of businesses downtown.
“Better streets attract more people and more activity, thus strengthening both communities, the businesses that serve them and the city’s economy as a whole,” writes New York City Department of Transportation Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan in the report.
In one case study, retail sales for businesses along a sustainable new street – with traffic calming, tree plantings and improved bike and pedestrian facilities – outperformed two comparable streets by nearly 25%.

I would like to see a community help sign up. This could include things that people need help with around the exterior of the house, putting up and/or removing holiday decorations, exterior projects that you need an extra set of hands, clean up around the yard - In my mind, initially this would be for people that are unable to do these things on their own physical accord and have limited means. I am initially thinking about things that if done could add an aesthetically pleasing value to the community and building relationships.

Organizing with community members and we can learn different skills, especially life skills. This could be things like changing a tire, changing your oil, blowing out sprinklers, different financial situations (writing checks, different types of loans, credit cards, interest compounds), different types of house loans, cooking, sewing, gardening, lawn/weed maintenance, dog training, dancing styles, computer skills, couponing, cleaning, jewelry, painting, house maintenance/appliance check/maintenance, how to set up technology in the home, college applications/fasfa, and other community interests. These can be done by community members, business members, or others. We can also have a waiver or something that waives liability and makes these suggestions/guidance items.

During the community planning meeting, the representative of Baessler Homes was asked by an attendee at the meeting if the road would be paved across the entirety of S McKinley Ave when they pave it.
